There are three major emphases to our marriage ministry programs at The Rock and they are:
Prepare – Helping engaged and newlywed couples begin to build a strong foundation for their marriage. We use the Prepare/Enrich program which is based on a set of five inventories that examine relationship issues a couple may experience. The inventories must be administered by a trained Prepare/Enrich mentor and include 4-6 feedback sessions in which the mentors facilitate discussions based on the couples inventory results.
Enrich – Deepening and enriching marriages that are stable. We offer mentors and have classes with different curricula scheduled each semester for enriching marriages in the areas of finances, parenting, communication, and support. We also host an annual marriage retreat where couples can learn tools to improve their marriage, have some time away (just the two of them), meet other couples at church for support, and receive personal prayer.
Repair – Encouraging couples that are in distress. We can help with referrals or mentors for couples who are dealing with addictions, infidelity, infertility, and loss.

EVENTS
2B1 Marriage Ministry Monthly Couples Night Out
The Rock 2B1 Marriage Ministry offers a fun, informal monthly gathering place for married couples to get to know one another, receive prayer and share food and fellowship together. We meet at the church, share a light meal (small fee) and spend from 6:30-9:00pm enjoying a fun activity. We try to please both partners with everything from ballroom dancing, scavenger hunts and sports nights. Sometimes we leave the church together for the evening. Other times we stay onsite. Once a quarter, we dedicate the evening to discussing the challenges facing marriages and end with each couple receiving personal prayer from our 2B1 Leadership Team.
We gather on the 3rd Friday of the month, which corresponds with Parents Night Out. This enables couples with children to have a safe, fun and convenient spot for their children while you enjoy an evening with other adults.
