STEP 1 – Group Link
Group Link is an event where you will meet leaders and other people with the goal forming a life group. It may sound intimidating but it will be worth it to start the joinery of sharing your life with others. Come to Group Link to learn why joining a Life Group is so important, to meet the leaders of your new Life Group and begin to plan your group together. When your group is formed, you will decide together, with the leaders direction, how many nights a month, what night of the week and what time the group is going to meet.

STEP 2 – Starter Group
When your group is launched from Group Link it is called a Starter Group. Your Starter Group goes through a basic study on group life and authentic community. After this intro to group life study is completed, your group will decide together which study they would like to do next. Starter Groups have a 10-week “dating period" that allows you to decide if a particular group is right for you. Our hope is that each Starter Group forms a committed Life Group together. During the dating period, each group may have a few members added to their group.

STEP 3 – Life Group
Life Groups will meet either 2, 3, or 4 times a month depending on what your leader and your group decides to do. After the first four weeks, leaders and groups pick a new life group study to go through together. Once your group has finished the second study they can pick a third and so on. We will have a list of suggested curriculums but the leader and group can decide what they would like to do. Our hope is that the group is a great fit for doing life together and continue on as a life group for 18 months. After 18 months we would like the group to multiply. We want groups to stay together for 18 months so authentic community, belonging, care, and spiritual growth can take place at its deepest levels.

You don’t have to be a theologian, preacher or teacher to lead a group. All you need to do is love people and be able to push play!

registering for the life group leader training you are not committing to lead a group. You are just committing to learn more about being a leader.
