Mission Statement

Developing spiritually mature lovers of God with a servant’s heart for family, church, and the community.

Men’s Ministry is a place for guys to connect and be encouraged. It is a place where we support each other to grow in our faith and stand together in prayer for our lives, families, and jobs. In order for us to become all God has called us to be as men, we need each other, standing together As One. We accomplish this one man at a time.

GET IN – GET HEALTHY – GET STRONG – GET GOING

Men’s Conference 2019

Friday Night 4/26/19
Jake Hamilton leads worship and Pastor Corey Russell (of Upper Room; formerly IHOP KC) teaches the men about living for legacy and dreaming for the generations. He encourages those listening to work hard to build a spiritual inheritance for our children’s children–and in light of the future not to squander that inheritance on a moment of pleasure by trading our birthright for a bowl of soup.

Saturday Morning 4/27/19
The Rock Worship Team leads worship and Pastor Corey Russell (of Upper Room; formerly IHOP KC) warns the men about “remaining”.
Using the Israelites in the Old Testament as well as King David we see two examples of what happens when a group of people (or an individual) simply “remain” as apposed to pushing forward to the place God has called them. Pastor Corey teaches us that we were made for the fight and if we’re feeling bored it’s because we aren’t where God has called us to be.

Saturday Afternoon 4/27/19
The Rock Worship Team leads worship and Jake Hamilton teaches about how we can recognize the cycles that we’re living in for the purpose of breaking out of them into a life of freedom and abundance for our families and our communities. Jake Hamilton references the Tytler Cycle to show how we create patterns that lead to behaviors; but Holy Spirit gives us the power to break the cycle and create new patterns to live the life that God destined for us.

Saturday Evening 4/27/19
Jake Hamilton leads worship and Pastor Corey Russell (of Upper Room; formerly IHOP KC) teaches about the Fire of God.
Pastor Corey shares about the Baptism of Fire, and how we can cultivate fire in the secret place by spending intentional, daily time with the Lord. This fire that comes from intimacy with God produces power and Godly character by burning away the chaff and the dross.
